The Jazz Band

Under the direction of Walter J. Suggs, the Jazz Band at Berry Academy is designed to teach basic and advanced fundamentals of string, wind, brass, and percussion instruments. The ensemble and solo activities are designed to develop elements of musicianship including tone production, technical skills, intonation, music reading skills, listening & improvisational skills, analyzing music and music history.
